Dr. Raizman is a Pediatrician at Akron Children’s  Pediatrics Medina Office. She is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Northeast Ohio Medical University and has been voted one of Akron's Top Doctors in 2021 and 2022 in Akron Life Magazine. She’s been practicing since 2001 and has been with Akron Children’s since 2016. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pa. and completed her Pediatrics Residency at Akron Children’s. She went on to complete a Fellowship in Child Maltreatment and Family Violence at the Chadwick Center for Children and Families, Rady Children’s Hospital, in San Diego, Calif. Dr. Raizman has a special interest in mental health issues in children and adolescents, establishing and reinforcing positive parent-child/ parent-teen interactions, trauma-informed care, headache management, questions regarding children and pets and well visits, sports physicals and sick care for infants through young adulthood.  She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in both General Pediatrics and Child Abuse Pediatrics. She’s a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Ray E. Helfer Society.  She lives in Medina with her fiancé and 3 dogs, and enjoys dancing, hiking, listening to the blues, as well as anything Marvel, Dragons and Baby Yoda.
