Garden of Hope and Healing Plant Sale

In 2008, the Women's Board dedicated the Garden of Hope and Healing to serve as an extension of the holistic, family-centered care provided at Akron Children's. The Women’s Board uses proceeds from its annual plant sale to cover the care needed to maintain the garden for families and visitors to Akron Children's.

The garden was designed to offer a quiet place for privacy and reflection for patients and families of Akron Children’s. The blooming gardens and flowerbeds located throughout are accented by inviting benches and curved hardscapes to offer families a path to a secret garden of calm and tranquility.
