Dr. Oehlenschlager is a pediatrician who joined Akron Children's Hospital Pediatrics, Wadsworth North in January 2023. Prior to that, he had an active pediatric practice with Wadsworth Pediatrics, in Wadsworth, Ohio. He earned his medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, S.C. and completed a pediatric residency at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. He's a clinical assistant professor of pediatrics at Northeastern Ohio Medical University and is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He served as president of the Akron Pediatric Society from 1999-2004 and as a preceptor for the Resident Education in Community Settings Program at Akron Children's.
