Meet Kara Williams

Kara Williams is vice president, associate general counsel at Akron Children’s, and has primary responsibility for litigation and claims management matters. She joined Akron Children’s in 2020 as associate general counsel, managing all aspects of the hospital’s litigation portfolio and outside counsel. As vice president, she continues to manage litigation and claims, and provide oversight and leadership for the hospital’s risk management functions and professionals. Williams received her bachelor’s degree at West Virginia University, her master’s degree at the University of Kentucky and her juris doctorate degree at the University of Cincinnati.
