Jo Ann is a neonatal nurse practitioner at Akron Children’s. She’s been practicing as a provider since 1998 and with Akron Children’s since 1981. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Idabelle Firestone School of Nursing in Akron, Ohio and a master’s degree from the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Program in Columbus, Ohio. Jo Ann has a special interest in extracorporeal membrane oxygenation and is certified by the National Certification Corporation.
