We offer the only pediatric-focused dermatology program in the greater Akron area - one of only a few programs in Ohio. We are specially trained to diagnose and treat infants, children and teens with a range of skin, hair and nail conditions — from acne, eczema and warts to more complex genetic skin disorders and vascular malformations.

- molluscum
- port-wine stain (capillary malformation)

- unwanted hair growth (hirsutism)

Our vascular anomalies clinic includes pediatric specialists in dermatology, plastic and reconstructive surgery and interventional radiology. Together, we address the complex needs of children with vascular birthmarks, hemangiomas and other vascular malformations.

We offer the most advanced treatments to give your child the best possible results, including many non-invasive procedures such as:
- Laser treatment of vascular birthmarks and warts
- Cryotherapy to remove warts and other non-cancerous skin lesions
- Treatment of keloid scars
- Candida antigen injections for the treatment of warts or molluscum
- Laser hair reduction
- Phototherapy, also known as light therapy, for atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, vitiligo and other inflammatory skin diseases
- Microneedling
- Acne scar treatment
We also offer skin biopsy and the surgical removal of skin lesions, and work closely with pediatric plastic and reconstructive surgeons to treat children with certain types of birthmarks and other pigmented skin lesions.
