Akron Children’s supports local student-athletes by providing athletic training services at dozens of local high schools. Our certified athletic trainers are an important part of the care team that includes coaches, parents and physicians. From injury prevention to customized rehabilitation programs, athletic trainers are dedicated to helping young athletes stay in the game. We even have The Locker Room that provides sports equipment for young athletes in need.
