Daniel Pettee, DO

Director, Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Program; Director, Solid Tumor Program; Pediatric Hematologist-Oncologist

Dr. Pettee has been practicing since 2011. He is the director of the adolescent and young adult cancer program at the Showers Family Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders at Akron Children’s Hospital. After graduating from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, he completed his pediatric residency at the University of Toledo and a fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology at Akron Children’s Hospital. Dr. Pettee has a special interest in young adult cancers, bone tumors, leukemia and benign blood disorders. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in pediatrics and pediatric hematology/oncology. Additionally, he is a member of the American Society of Pediatric Hematology Oncology and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
