Dr. Michelle Levitt offers a comprehensive evaluation to assess the overall health of athletes and identify areas that may improve athletic performance. Dr. Levitt and the Akron Children’s Sports Health team – which may include a certified athletic trainer, sports nutritionist and sports psychologist – address:

Customized care

Sports performance service begins with an initial assessment to screen for any medical issues – and review the athlete’s functional movement, current training routine, nutritional intake and mental well-being. From there, athletes receive personalized plans based on their age, sport and overall wellness.Sports performance and wellness evaluations are different from the yearly pre-participation sports physical.
