Babies on the Move

It took nearly two years to plan, but moving 12 babies to a new Akron Children's neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center took less than a day. The planning paid off as everything went smoothly. The new NICU is larger and features private rooms, which help decrease infections, increase breast feeding and get babies home sooner.
