Mary Beth's Story
My name is Mary Beth and we have two children who deal with ongoing medical issues in multiple areas. Our daughter has Turner’s syndrome. She was diagnosed 11 1/2 years ago. She sees multiple doctors, including specialists in endocrinology, gastroenterology, neurology, cardiology, ENT, ophthalmology, genetics, allergy, and nutrition. In the past, she has also been seen in sports medicine and outpatient OT. We also have a close working relationship with the school system for her IEP.
Our son has asthma and allergies, migraines, anxiety, and is fructose intolerant.
