I'm a mother of a 5-year-old girl who continues to use various services at Akron Children’s in the Mahoning Valley. I'm a special education teacher in a public school system with 13 years experience. My experience has provided many opportunities to work with children with varying types of special needs/disabilities and their families.
Throughout my career, I have worked in the classroom and directly with families, which has given me the opportunity to truly understand that children and family come first.
