Akron Children’s will provide pediatric primary care to Campbell and surrounding communities with the opening of a new practice on Aug. 28.
Located inside the Community Literacy Workforce and Cultural Center, the new office is located at 434 Struthers-Coitsville Road in Lowellville. This is the 40th office in the Akron Children’s Pediatrics network.
Akron Children’s Pediatrics, Campbell office hours are Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Providers Aaron Sweeney, MD and Certified Nurse Practitioners Laurie McGlynn, Terri McCaughtry and Marie Lingenfelter offer wellness checkups, immunizations, treatment for illness and chronic disease management.
“We’re excited to bring pediatric primary care closer to home for families in and around Campbell,” said Brian Dinger, Akron Children’s vice president of primary care. “In the fall, we will expand the Campbell office by offering Saturday morning hours for sick child care and well visits. Also in the fall, we will have a mental health therapist available for patients on Mondays.”
