Akron Children’s again earns 15th ERC NorthCoast 99 Best Workplace honors

Akron Children’s was once again honored by ERC as one of Northeast Ohio’s great workplaces for top talent. This is the 15th time Children’s has earned this regional award.

“Receiving NorthCoast 99 recognition is always gratifying,” said Rhonda Larimore, chief human resources officer at Akron Children’s. “However, earning this honor for a year highlighted by unprecedented change and challenges is particularly meaningful. In this rapidly changing environment, our employees continued to demonstrate their belief that working here is more than a job.

Presented by ERC and now in its 23^rd year, NorthCoast 99 recognizes 99 great workplaces in the region for their efforts to attract, develop, retain and motivate their top performers. All winners participated in a rigorous application process focusing on organizational strategy, policies and benefits; talent attraction, acquisition and onboarding; employee well-being; employee engagement and talent development; total rewards; and diversity, equity and inclusion.
