Akron Children’s Hospital Pediatrics’ Fairlawn office welcomes two new providers

Dr. Lauren Cardinal

Akron Children’s Pediatrics welcomes Lauren Cardinal, M.D., and Dakota Bennett, M.D., to its Fairlawn office. The practice – located at 701 White Pond Drive, Suite 100 – provides pediatric primary care for infants, children and teens.  

Dr. Cardinal earned her medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. She also earned a bachelor of science in mathematics from Spring Hill University in Mobile, Alabama. She completed her residency in pediatrics at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospitals in Cleveland. She currently lives in the Akron area with her family. 

Dr. Bennett received his medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Science in Toledo. He also earned his bachelor of science degree in biology from the University of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio. He completed his pediatrics residency at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital in Cleveland. Dr. Bennett lives in Shaker Heights with his wife and infant daughter.

In addition to Drs. Cardinal and Bennett, the Akron Children’s Pediatrics care team in Fairlawn includes Drs. Hannah Lemerman, Meghan Mahanta, Susan Potter, Katrina Regula, Molly Shaw, Andrea Sims and Sarah Uguccini and Certified Nurse Practitioner Amanda Bucca. The office is now accepting new patients.
