Ohio lowers vaccine eligibility to 16 years old in cases to avoid waste

Michael Bigham, MD, a pediatric intensivist at Akron Children's Hospital, notes that the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine is the only one currently approved for use in 16- and 17-year-olds as the State of Ohio allows providers to expand distribution to all who are eligible to avoid wasting doses.
