Helping preemies breathe easier with NAVA ventilation

Akron Children's president and CEO Grace Wakulchik, and CEO emeritus Bill Considine, share their thoughts on the hospital's legacy in the community, as well as the hospital's latest project to support some of our tiniest patients: Neurally adjusted ventilatory assist (NAVA). This technology is used to help premature infants weighing as little as a pound with their breathing.
