Katie joined the food service and nutrition department at Akron Children’s in August 2012. She earned a bachelor’s in marketing management from The University of Akron, Akron, Ohio, and a master’s in nutrition from Kent State University, Kent, Ohio. Katie’s passion for pediatric weight management helped her develop the nutrition segment of the Healthy Active Living and bariatric surgery programs.
