Akron Children’s is the largest pediatric healthcare provider in northeast Ohio. Our training programs offer clinical experience in a supportive environment and help prepare participants in providing quality, evidence-based care. Educational opportunities range from pediatric residency and fellowship programs to clinical placements and internships.
Our fellowship programs are structured to provide excellent clinical and scholarly training in a friendly and supportive environment. Our trainees graduate as expertly trained clinicians who provide superior clinical care, are content experts in their respective fields and are seasoned educators of future clinicians. In addition to busy clinical services which expose Fellows to the breadth of their subspecialties, the Rebecca D. Considine Research Institute at Akron Children’s provides Fellows with the scholarly training and experience necessary to further their academic pursuits.
