Weekly Viral Epidemiology Report

Weekly Reports

These reports contain results for molecular and antigen tests ordered throughout the Akron Children's Hospital network and performed at the Akron/Mahoning valley laboratories, for both hospital and ambulatory patients. Effective Feb. 20, 2022 this report also includes results for SARS-CoV-2 testing performed on the IDNOW molecular platform at outpatient locations.

Beginning Nov. 13, COVID positivity trend is displayed as a single line as total test positivity.  Due to the small number of screening tests being performed, the standalone screening positivity rate trend line was becoming misleading. Positivity rates for "Diagnostic" and "Screening" tests are still calculated each week, and will be displayed in the data tables at the top of the sheet.
