Blocked Tear Duct RECS Learning Module

Objectives

  1. Know the frequency of blocked tear duct and management.
  2. Understand the difference between acute infection and blocked tear duct.
  3. Review what common eye infections can be seen in the newborn based on age.
  4. Recognize when a congenital blocked tear duct should be referred in the outpatient setting.
  5. Understand what pediatrics patients frequently present with blocked tear duct.
