Same-day Appointments
Monday, Thursday and Friday from 9:30-11:30 a.m. 

  • Any type of care – sick visits, wellness exams, physicals.
  • Open to current and new Akron Children's Hospital Pediatrics patients, although specialty patients may need extra time and should schedule an appointment.
  • Please contact the office to check availability.

High Call Volume
The Akron Children’s Appointment Center is receiving an increased number of calls, causing parents to wait on hold for longer lengths of time. We apologize that your wait may be longer than anticipated. Your child's care is our top priority, and we are actively working to improve the process for our valued patients and families. Thank you for your patience as we answer calls and care for every child who comes through our doors.

COVID-19 Updates
To keep our families and staff safe, please review these guidelines before arriving for an appointment.

  • Visitor restrictions: The patient and up to 2 healthy adults are permitted.
  • Arrive wearing a mask: Everyone but kids under age 2 and those with sensory issues should wear masks or face coverings. Cloth masks are permitted. We will provide a mask if you don't have one.
  • Temperature screening: We are taking temperatures on all visitors.
  • Mobile Check-in: If your child's medical record has your mobile phone number and you have texting capabilities, you’ll receive a text before your child’s appointment arrival time. Click the link when you reach our office - and please wait in your car until we text you again to let you know it's time to come inside.
