Objectives (Educational Content) :
1. Identify the importance of patient data reconciliation and review. 2. Describe best practices for maintaining the problem list. 3. Demonstrate the Epic workflows for data reconciliation and review.
Target Audience:
General pediatricians, family physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, social workers, psychologists, and nurses.
Identified Gap:
Many healthcare providers face challenges in consistently reconciling and reviewing patient data, maintaining accurate problem lists, and effectively using electronic health record (EHR) workflows such as those in Epic. These gaps can lead to documentation errors, care delays, and compliance issues. This activity aims to enhance provider competence in data management best practices and improve proficiency with Epic workflows to support high-quality, compliant patient care.
