Objectives (Educational Content) :

1. Discuss the difference between feedback and assessment (not evaluation).

2. Identify when, where, and how to provide feedback.

3. Discuss different feedback delivery models & Identify barriers to providing feedback.

Target Audience:

General pediatricians, family physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, social workers, psychologists, and nurses.

Identified Gap:

Healthcare professionals may struggle to distinguish between feedback and assessment, identify appropriate opportunities for delivering feedback, and apply effective feedback models in clinical and educational settings. Barriers such as discomfort, lack of training, and unclear expectations can hinder meaningful feedback exchanges.

The learner will view the presentation, successfully complete a post-test and complete an activity evaluation.
