Objectives (Educational Content) :

1. Describe the evaluation and workup of pediatric patients with suspected spine injury. 2. Illustrate thoracic and lumbar spine traumatic pathology. 3. Discuss the operative decision-making for pediatric spine trauma.

Target Audience:

General pediatricians, family physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, social workers, psychologists, and nurses.

Identified Gap:

Despite advancements in pediatric spine trauma care, significant gaps remain in the comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and management of spinal cord injuries in children.
