A Donor Advised Fund (DAF) is an easy way to manage your charitable giving while taking advantage of the favorable tax benefits offered by a DAF.
If you already have a DAF, please use DAF Direct, which allows you to recommend grants to Akron Children’s directly from your DAF account. Simply choose your financial institution from the drop-down menu and the amount you would like to give. If you have any questions about this process, please speak with your financial advisor. If your DAF is not accessible through the financial institutions listed, you can still make recommend a grant to Akron Children’s through your DAF administrator.
In addition to this support, you may also choose to distribute your funds to Akron Children’s after your lifetime by naming Akron Children’s as a beneficiary of all or some of the DAF’s remaining funds. If you choose to do so, please use the legal name Children’s Hospital Medical Center of Akron and the Tax ID number: 23-7114013.
