Stool will be rejected if stored >2 hours at room temperature, or >24 hours at 2-8 Celsius, or Frozen. Stool will be rejected if collected in Formalin.

Refrigerated at 2-8 degrees Celsius. Stool should be sent to the lab within 2 hours

Collect whole stool (minimum - swab) and place in a Stool container, or Rectal swab in Eswab transport tube if patient cannot produce stool.
