Special Instructions:
Call CCL in advance to schedule test. Special handling is required. For Outpatients, test should only be drawn in outpatient locations within a hospital at Akron Campus. Patient must be fasting 10 hours prior to specimen collection. It is essential that persons to be tested abstain from all drugs that inhibit platelet function for at least 10 days prior to testing. Patient should also refrain from smoking and avoid caffeine-containing products the day of testing.
