Objectives (Educational Content) :

1.List the definitions of the spectrum of vomiting. 2. Identify the differential diagnosis of vomiting. 3. Differentiate the evaluation of patients with vomiting.

Target Audience:

General pediatricians, family physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, social workers, psychologists, and nurses.

Identified Gap:

Healthcare providers may encounter challenges in distinguishing between the various causes and presentations of vomiting in pediatric patients, including conditions like eosinophilic esophagitis (EOE). There is a need for improved understanding of the definitions, differential diagnoses, and evaluation strategies for pediatric vomiting. This educational activity aims to enhance clinical knowledge and diagnostic accuracy, supporting timely and effective management of pediatric patients presenting with vomiting.
