Objectives (Educational Content) :
1. Demonstrate an understanding of how to make referrals to MRSS program. 2. Describe each of the 3 phases of MRSS and the services provided. 3. Recognize the clinical need for MRSS and crisis circumstances that would warrant a referral to MRSS.
Target Audience:
General pediatricians, family physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, social workers, psychologists, and nurses.
Identified Gap:
Many healthcare and community providers may be unfamiliar with the Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) model, including how to initiate referrals, the structure of its three service phases, and the clinical scenarios that warrant its use. This gap can result in underutilization of a critical resource for youth and families in crisis.
