Objectives (Educational Content) :
1. Describe high value care and how it relates to bronchiolitis.
2. Analyze evidence and epidemiology surrounding high flow nasal canula and bronchiolitis.
3. Examine the evidence related to viral testing in bronchiolitis.
Target Audience:
General pediatricians, family physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, social workers, psychologists, and nurses.
Identified Gap:
Healthcare providers may have limited familiarity with the current evidence surrounding the use of High-Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) in bronchiolitis, including its epidemiological trends and how it compares to invasive and non-invasive ventilation strategies. These gaps can lead to inconsistent clinical decision-making and variability in care.
Estimated Time to Complete the Educational Activity:
1 hour(s)
Expiration Date for CE/CME Credit:
10-02-2026
Method of Participation in the Learning Process:
The learner will view the presentation, successfully complete a post-test and complete an activity evaluation.
Evaluation Methods:
All learners must successfully complete a post-test, as well as an activity evaluation, to claim CE/CME credit.
