The former home of Child Guidance services in Akron (OH) was razed over several days in late April 2013 to help make way for a $200 million expansion of Akron Children’s Hospital. The new building will feature an outpatient surgery suite, a neonatal intensive care unit, high-risk birth services, an expanded emergency room, as well as other specialty services.
