It is impressive how the Akron Children’s Hospital family stands together during challenging times to take care of one another and our staff on the frontlines. As a foundation we are focused on both the short-term and long-term needs of the hospital such as telehealth and behavioral health, where additional resources are required.
Staff resiliency and hardship are extremely important to Akron Children’s Hospital’s to take care of those at the forefront of the COVID-19 pandemic. For this reason, we are creating ways to assist our staff with stress and burdens as a result of the current crisis.
We have a fantastic team here at Akron Children’s. Our doctors, nurses and the entire staff are doing amazing work. Through their dedication and commitment to our children, we will get through this as one Akron Children’s family.
Your Akron Children’s Hospital Foundation representatives are here for you and we continue to raise funds for daily operational needs of the hospital as well as the needs due to the current environment.
