Akron Children's Hospital TWIG Groups

Featured Image

TWIG (Together with Important Goals) is a group of nearly 150 volunteer women across northeast Ohio who bring smiles to the faces of Akron Children’s patients.

These talented women create simple craft ideas, package the kits individually, and deliver them several times a week for patients. Hospital volunteers take a special craft cart to patients’ bedsides and help the children with their projects

At monthly meetings, you’d be part of the production team creating craft kits, offered free of charge to Akron Children's patients. The kits create a welcome diversion for the patients who aren't able to leave the hospital because of their condition.
