Clinical Patient Facing – Non-RN (PRN)

Rate:  $23/hour

Minimum Qualification: HS Diploma and clinical training
Prior ACH Role: PCA/LPN/Techs/MAs/MHTs/Clinical Students

• Provide 1:1 Patient Care Companion (PCC) – Primary Function
• Obtain vital signs
• Assist with turning patients
• Assist patients with ADLs
• PO feeds (NICU excluded)
• Toilet papers/change diapers/obtain clean catch
• Measure intake/output
• Obtain weights/lengths/heights/head circumference
• Assist with patient positioning/comfort holding assist
• Room patients
• Assist Respiratory Therapist
• Pull and clean equipment
• Bring stock from respiratory therapy department
• Stock intubation cart/check q shift
• Take empty tanks to tank room/get replacements
• Answer call lights and phones
• Assist with Visitor Exception requests
• Patient transport
• Transport specimens to lab
• Restock items
• Remove outdated items
• Backfill Unit Secretary for phone and monitor unit entry coverage
• Other duties as delegated per scope of practice with Just in Time Training
