Dr. Mancuso is chair of the Department of Maternal Fetal Medicine at Akron Children’s Hospital and director of the hospital’s Fetal Treatment Center. She’s been a maternal-fetal specialist and medical geneticist at Akron Children’s since 2011. She earned her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University and completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. She went on to complete a maternal-fetal medicine and medical genetics fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Mancuso is certified by the American Board of Medical Genetics and the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology with a subspecialty certification in maternal-fetal medicine. She is a fellow of the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine, the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics. She’s contributed to many presentations and publications on topics related to maternal-fetal medicine and is an associate professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Northeast Ohio Medical University.
