Dr. Stanford is a pediatric neuropsychologist at Akron Children’s Hospital. She’s been in practice since 1991 and with Akron Children’s since 2011. After graduating from the University of Georgia, she completed a residency in clinical neuropsychology at the University of Chicago Medical Center and a fellowship in clinical neuropsychology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine. Dr. Stanford has a special interest in lifespan neuropsychological evaluation of central nervous system disorders. She is certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology in clinical neuropsychology (lifespan) and a subspecialty in pediatric neuropsychology. Dr. Stanford has published numerous articles and presentations on topics related to neuropsychology, and is a member of the American Psychological Association, among several other professional organizations. Dr. Stanford is a professor of pediatrics and psychology at Northeast Ohio Medical University and an adjunct professor at Kent State University.
