Dr. Gaisie is a pediatric radiologist at Akron Children’s Hospital. He’s been practicing since 1981 and with Akron Children’s since 1987. He earned his medical degree from the University of Ghana Medical School in Ghana and completed a radiology residency at Presbyterian University in Pittsburgh, PA and a pediatrics residency at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C. He went on to complete a fellowship in pediatric radiology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Dr. Gaisie is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Radiology with a certificate of added qualification in pediatric radiology. He’s also a member of the Radiological Society of North America, Society for Pediatric Radiology and the Summit County Medical Society. He’s authored numerous articles and given dozens of presentations on topics related to radiology and is a clinical professor of radiology at Northeast Ohio Medical University.
