Dr. Flinn is a pediatrician at Akron Children’s Hosptial Pediatrics, where she’s been practicing since 2016. Prior, she practiced as a pediatric cardiologist for nearly 30 years before becoming a general pediatrician in 1996. She earned her medical degree from Case Western Reserve School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio and completed her pediatric residency and pediatric cardiology fellowship at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hosptial in Cleveland. She went on to complete a National Institutes of Health (NIH) research fellowship in pediatric cardiology at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL and earned a master’s degree in public policy and management from The Ohio State University. Dr. Flinn has a special interest in exercise physiology and cardiovascular preventive medical aspects of children's health care. She is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
