Beth Smith

Vice President, Public Relations and Marketing

In her role as Vice President of Public Relations and Marketing, Beth Smith oversees advertising, public relations, internal communications, media relations and interactive communications, as well as marketing for the hospital’s foundation and primary care offices.

Prior to her current role, Smith served as director of institutional marketing at The University of Akron and vice president of Wirtz Integrated Marketing. She earned her bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University.

Smith participates on a variety of area boards, including Victim Assistance and the Blick Clinic.

She resides in Akron with her husband Pete and has four children and six grandchildren.
