Rebecca D. Considine Research Institute Education Programs

As a major teaching institution affiliated with Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED), Akron Children’s recognizes that developing tomorrow’s pediatric medicine professionals requires opportunities for scientific inquiry in an intellectual environment conducive to scholarly pursuits.

To instill an awareness and appreciation of pediatric researchers, the Rebecca D. Considine Research Institute offers educational opportunities for students, physicians and nurses at all stages of career development. The research institute also provides opportunities for students in university and college programs to meet research curriculum requirements and gain pediatric research experience, as well as opportunities for volunteers that are interested in assisting with research activities.

For more information about these and other research education opportunities, contact the Rebecca D. Considine Research Institute at researchconcierge@akronchildrens.org.
