Overview
Our program provides you with training and supervision in the administration and scoring of neuropsychological tests, as well as in writing neuropsychological evaluation reports. Using a range of tests and procedures, you receive individualized and group supervision experience in planning test selection, implementing, interpreting, documenting and communicating results of neuropsychological evaluations.
You receive training through a variety of modalities. You'll be taught administration and scoring of neuropsychological tests through both direct observation and practice. We closely supervise methodology of test administration.
You are expected to provide a maximum of 16 hours per week of service that includes hands-on clinical care and didactics. You'll spend 1 day per week in clinic from 8 a.m.-4 p.m., while Fridays are dedicated to didactic experiences.
The clinical case material, supervision and conferences that make up this practicum are designed to provide a broad introduction to pediatric neuropsychology, and to prepare you for further specialized training in the field. We make decisions regarding research placement on a case-by-case basis.
