Michael Redovian, M.D, has joined Akron Children’s Hospital as a pediatric psychiatrist in the Lois and John Orr Family Behavioral Health Center.
Dr. Redovian received his medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, Ohio. He is also a graduate of Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in integrated life science.
He completed his residency at Summa Health in Akron. Dr. Redovian came to Akron Children’s for his fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry, during which he treated inpatient children and adolescents dealing with mental and physical illnesses. He also worked with patients on medication management and psychotherapy on an outpatient basis.
Behavioral Health specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of emotional or behavioral disorders affecting children, teens and their families. Mental health services include medication management, educational consultation and testing, psychological testing, individual therapy and family counseling.
Dr. Redovian, a native of New Franklin, resides in Akron with his family.
