03-18-2019 (Mahoning Valley, Ohio )
Akron Children’s Hospital’s program to help children and teens better manage their weight is now offered in the Mahoning Valley.
Healthy Active Living was designed to help children learn healthier eating habits and become more active. Dr. Michelle Levitt, a pediatrician who is board certified in obesity medicine, works with patients and families to help them make healthy lifestyle changes.
The program will be offered at Akron Children’s Hospital in Boardman, located at 6505 Market St., in Building C, Suite 2100. Appointments are available on Thursdays.
Appointments are billed to insurance like regular pediatrician visits. The program is open to all children, not just current Akron Children’s Hospital Pediatrics patients.
For more information on the Healthy Active Living program or to make an appointment, call 330-543-5673.
