Dr. Lorena Floccari joins Akron Children’s Hospital

Lorena Floccari, M.D., has joined Akron Children’s Hospital as a pediatric orthopedic surgeon.

Dr. Floccari recently completed a pediatric spine fellowship at Starship Children’s Hospital in Auckland, New Zealand. Prior to that, she completed the Dorothy & Bryant Edwards Fellowship in Pediatric Orthopedics and Scoliosis at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas. Her orthopedic surgery residency was at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and she earned her medical degree from The Ohio State University.

Dr. Floccari, a Munroe Falls native, resides in Fairlawn with her husband.
