Dr. Joel Katz joins Akron Children’s Hospital

Joel Katz, D.O., has joined Akron Children’s Hospital as a pediatric neurosurgeon.

Dr. Katz recently completed a pediatric neurosurgery fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Prior to that, he was a neurosurgery resident at Grant Medical Center and Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

He earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York and a bachelor’s degree in biology from Yeshiva University in New York.

Dr. Katz resides in Akron with his wife, Elana, and children Gabriel, Ava and Hannah.
