Dr. Erin Wright joins Akron Children’s Hospital

Erin Wright, M.D., has joined Akron Children’s Hospital as a pediatric neuro-oncologist in the Showers Family Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders.

Dr. Wright recently completed a pediatric neuro-oncology fellowship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati. Prior to that, she completed a pediatric hematology/oncology fellowship at Akron Children’s Hospital and a pediatric residency at the University of South Florida in Tampa.

Dr. Wright earned her medical degree and certificate in bioethics from Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown and her undergraduate degree from the College of Wooster.

She is a native of Akron and now resides in Lakewood.
