Dr. Christina Woofter joins Akron Children’s Hospital Pediatrics in Tallmadge

Akron Children’s Hospital Pediatrics welcomes Christina Woofter, M.D., to its Tallmadge office. The practice – which is located at Building D, 143 Northwest Ave., Suite 102 – provides pediatric primary care for infants, babies and teens.

Dr. Woofter most recently completed her pediatric residency at Akron Children’s Hospital.

She earned her medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, Ohio, and also earned a bachelor of science in biochemistry from The University of Mount Union in Alliance, Ohio.

Dr. Woofter, a native of Canton, lives in Rootstown.

In addition to Dr. Woofter, the Akron Children’s Hospital Pediatrics care team in Tallmadge includes Drs. Carrie Lehman and Allison Levine.

With same-day, evening and Saturday appointments available, Akron Children’s Hospital Pediatrics offers:

  • Annual well-child visits and routine checkups.
