Dr. Kristin Barrett joins Akron Children’s Hospital Pediatrics in Mansfield

Akron Children’s Pediatrics welcomes Kristin Barrett, M.D., to its Mansfield office. The practice – which is located at 1029 S. Trimble Road – provides pediatric primary care for infants, babies and teens.

Dr. Barrett most recently completed her postgraduate training as a resident in the Akron Children’s Department of Pediatrics. She has also worked as a research assistant at Cleveland Clinic in the department of radiation oncology.

She earned her medical degree from the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences. She has a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from Case Western Reserve University.

Dr. Barrett, a native of Ashland, lives in Lexington with her husband, Joseph, and son, Finnegan.

In addition to Dr. Barrett, the Akron Children’s Pediatrics care team in Mansfield includes Drs. Jennifer Andrews, Robert Burns, Erin Fain, Celia Flinn, Achilles Litao, Rebecca Nduaguba and Mark Redding, and nurse practitioners Brittany Bayer, Lora Harris, Beth Nadler, Melisa Oberdier, Carol Reece, Amy Stofer and Kieyra Thrush.
