Dr. Jessica Bivens

Jessica Bivens, D.O., and Brandon Jones, D.O., have joined Akron Children’s Hospital as pediatric cardiologists in the Heart Center.
Dr. Bivens recently completed a pediatric cardiology fellowship at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Prior to that, she completed her pediatric residency at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.
She earned her doctor of osteopathic medicine degree at Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona, and a master’s degree in biomedical science at Midwestern University. She also has a bachelor’s degree in zoology and Spanish from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
Dr. Bivens, a native of Tallmadge, resides in North Canton
Dr. Brandon Jones
Dr. Jones recently completed a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. He was also a pediatric resident at Akron Children’s Hospital.
He earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida, and a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and biology from West Chester University in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Jones resides in Akron with his wife and son.
